The Library offers a wide variety of one-off events and regular programmes that support lifelong learning and community connectedness. Regular programmes for adults include craft, family and local history, writing and ukulele groups. Children’s programmes range from afterschool craft groups to preschool sessions.
Events that are hosted in the Library regularly including author talks, sustainability presentations, poetry competition, music month celebrations and heritage events.
Free information is available to all Library users on a wide range of topics. Hot Seats are held regularly and are presented by local experts and community groups. These include computer experts and Justices of the Peace.
