U-PLAY Spring Holiday Events @ the Libraries

Calling all parents and young superheroes! U-PLAY is back to save the school holidays with non-stopped action-packed superhero-themed school holiday events.

Join us at the Libraries from Monday, 25 September 2023 to Sunday, 8 October 2023 to make your child's school holidays truly super!

Save Our Birds

Throughout the school holidays at Central and Pinehaven Libraries

Be a superhero for birds. Design something to stop birds flying into windows! Grab a template from any of our libraries, complete your design and drop off your artwork back at the libraries to go into a prize draw. Submission closes on 8 October at 4PM. Event sponsored by Urban Wildlife Trust and Staglands.

Manga Drawing Workshop

Ages 13+. Join local artist, Daniel Dean Allen, to learn how to draw manga characters.

Epic Heroes and Villains

Join us for a fun and interactive writing workshop that will help you discover and develop your very own superheroes and supervillains. Learn the art of crafting three-dimensional superhero characters with unique powers, flaws, and motivations.

Join us for a viewing of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze' to celebrate all things hero and villain! Plus grab a themed photo using our green screen.

Chibi Animals Doodle Art
