We are excited to announce the opening of our annual short story writing competition. The competition is open to all residents of Upper Hutt and offers an opportunity for aspiring writers to showcase their talent and potentially win prizes.
Aspiring writers are encouraged to submit their original short stories between 18 March and 30 April 2023.
The competition is open to all, from ages 4 to 7 years, 8 to 12 years, 13 to 17 years and 18+ years. Winners in each age group will receive prizes and be recognized at the Short Story Competition Awards Night to be held at Central Library on 19 May 2023.
