Join us for an exciting week of cultural exploration as we partner with Upper Hutt Multicultural Council to celebrate diversity in our community.
From Monday, 18 March to Friday, 22 March, we'll be hosting daily events that showcase the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our vibrant Upper Hutt.

Here are the events lined up for the week:
Experience the rhythmic beats and vibrant energy of African drumming as we kick off Multicultural Week with an electrifying performance.
Discover the art of kirigami, the Japanese art of paper cutting, and test your skills with kendama, a traditional Japanese skill toy that's fun for all ages.
Immerse yourself in the captivating tales of Iranian storytelling, where ancient traditions and modern storytelling techniques come together to create an unforgettable experience.
Explore the elegance of Chinese calligraphy, learn the art of dumpling making from expert chefs, and marvel at the beauty of Chinese painting in this triple-feature event.
FRIDAY, 22 MARCH: LION DANCE
Experience the spectacle of the lion dance as talented performers bring this centuries-old tradition to life with dazzling costumes and mesmerizing choreography.
These daily events are FREE and open to all members of the community.
