Reid Perkins
Te Māngai Mahara | Community Heritage Advisor

Reid Perkins is our Community Heritage Advisor. He is responsible for promoting knowledge about and engagement with local history across the Upper Hutt community. This includes co-ordinating heritage related Council activities, supporting community driven heritage initiatives, and facilitating the production of local history information, resources and events.

Lizzie Errington
Manu Mahara | Librarian Heritage and Archives

Our Librarian for Heritage and Archives acts as kaitiaki for the community archives, ensuring that Upper Hutt City's stories are captured, preserved, and shared for future generations. Lizzie supports customers to use Recollect and other heritage-related resources; helps researchers with local history enquiries; takes and processes donations; and aids the promotion of local history through the creation of resources and events.
