Beyond the Page: Steve Mushin

It's the year 2100. Aotearoa is covered with towering forests. Wellington is a high-tech jungle city where native animals rule the ground - protected by robot bird security guards. People live in 3D printed treehouses with compost cannon toilets. We travel in strawberry-growing sewer submarines to work, and ride flying bikes to school.

Inventor Steve Mushin is working to bring this story to life. He's illustrated a book of 100+ theoretically possible inventions to transform cities into jungles. It's called ULTRAWILD, and you're invited to join the engineering team. Come and work with Steve on his inventions. Come and develop your OWN ultra wild ideas. Come and draw the future.

This Beyond the Page event is recommended for tamariki aged 9+ with their caregivers.
