For thousands of years before the first book and before the first theatre, there were Storytellers. There is awe in the simplicity and intimacy of gathering around together to listen to the Storyteller spin their yarns, opening our hearts and expanding our imaginations with an art form as ancient as humanity.

Bring your whanau to relax and be inspired for an hour in the presence Master Storyteller, Roger Sanders. Roger will tell a selection of his most enchanting Folk and Fairy stories to suit young and old using his mesmerizing voice and live musical instruments. Roger believes that we have all become so used to being surrounded by noise, light and fast-moving images that the treat of sitting down with acoustic music, and an unaided human voice has become a truly magical experience.

This Beyond the Page event is recommended for tamariki aged 5+ with their caregivers. Spaces are limited - arrive early to secure your space.
